ME AND THE DPS I can’t remember when I joined...some time ago!! I won the Valente trophy a bit, also the Pinkney Cigarette box from Northern Counties in 1996. I was the first recipient of the Vice President’s Award ... for just failing to win things but trying hard!! THE THINGS I ENJOY MOST BEING A MEMBER OF THE DPS
The company of like -minded and
helpful people, the friendly atmosphere and a very good programme.
I enjoy the portfolios and also AN AMBITION Maybe an FRPS. THE PEARL (Advice to budding photographers) Don’t try to produce images “to win”, follow your own interests and a personal style will develop. Look at as many exhibitions as possible.
